Rooted in Logan. Ready to Serve.

I’m a lifelong Cache Valley resident and have proudly called Logan home for the past 22 years. This city has shaped who I am, and for more than a decade, I’ve been dedicated to giving back and helping it grow stronger for everyone who lives here.

From 2019 to 2024, I served as chair of the Woodruff Neighborhood, working closely with residents and city officials to solve problems, build connections, and improve our quality of life. I currently serve as chair on the Logan City Parks and Recreation Board, where I assisted in bringing the Cache County Indoor Recreation Feasibility Study to fruition, in addition to helping make decisions about our city parks, outdoor spaces, and community programs for all ages.

As a longtime classroom volunteer and member of school community councils at Woodruff Elementary, Mt. Logan Middle School, and Logan High, I’ve spent over 20 years supporting our children, teachers, and families—because strong schools are the heart of a thriving city.

In my spare time, I’m a wife, mom, and part-time taxi driver to all of our kids’ activities. My husband and I are the proud parents of four children—two currently attending my alma mater, Utah State University, and one at Logan High School and one at Mt. Logan Middle School. I love traveling, golfing, listening to audiobooks, photographing my kids’ events, and spending time with my family.

I’m running for Logan City Council because I believe in responsive, transparent leadership that reflects the values and voices of our community. I bring hands-on experience, deep local knowledge, and a strong commitment to collaboration and practical solutions.

Let’s work together to keep Logan vibrant, connected, and prepared for the future.

My Focus

Indoor Recreation

Year-round access to safe, inclusive indoor recreation is essential to the health and well-being of our community. As a parent who has traveled with multiple youth sports (e.g. swimming & soccer), I’ve listened to residents of all ages express the need for more indoor space to play, move, and connect - especially during our long winters. That’s why I fully support the development of a new indoor recreation center, either at the county level or if needed at the city level. This center should provide family & lap aquatics, courts, turf, and community gathering space. A modern, multi-use facility would serve youth sports, adult leagues, seniors, and families, while also helping us host events and tournaments that boost our local economy. I will continue to advocate for accessible, affordable recreation options that serve all neighborhoods and strengthen the heart of our community.

Growth & Development

Logan is growing—and that growth needs to be guided thoughtfully. I support smart, balanced development that protects the character of our neighborhoods while meeting our community’s housing needs. That means increasing access to affordable and workforce housing, and working closely with residents to ensure new development aligns with our shared values and long-term vision. At the same time, a strong local economy is essential to a resilient future. As the wife of an entrepreneur and small business owner, I understand the challenges and opportunities local businesses face. I support policies that attract responsible investment, expand access to commercial spaces, and promote entrepreneurship—while preserving the unique character that makes Logan special. By planning carefully and working together, we can grow in a way that benefits all residents.

Education and Youth Support

While education is guided by our school district, the city plays a key role in supporting young people. With over 15 years of volunteering in local schools and serving on school community councils, I understand the importance of youth programs, safe routes to school, and recreational opportunities that keep kids engaged and supported. I love the recent creation of the Logan City Youth Council and I’ll continue to advocate for policies that prioritize families and make Logan a great place to raise children.

Parks & Recreation

As chairperson of the Logan City Parks and Recreation Board, I’ve seen firsthand how vital parks, trails, and recreation programs are to our quality of life. I’ll continue to advocate for well-maintained public spaces, expanded recreation opportunities for individuals, youth, and families, and long-term planning that ensures every neighborhood has access to the outdoors. Parks and trails build community, support health, and make Logan a great place to live.

Infrastructure and Transportation

Safe roads, walkable neighborhoods, and efficient public transit are the backbone of a well-functioning city. I’ll work to ensure our infrastructure keeps pace with growth by prioritizing road maintenance, bike and pedestrian pathways, and forward-thinking transportation solutions. Whether you're commuting to work, school, or simply running errands, getting around Logan should be safe, simple, and sustainable.

Fiscal Responsibility

As a City Council member, I will take a careful, commonsense approach to city spending. I believe every tax dollar should be used wisely and transparently, with a clear focus on community benefit. Budget decisions should reflect real priorities—like maintaining infrastructure, supporting public safety, and investing in services that improve quality of life—while avoiding waste and unnecessary debt. I will advocate for long-term planning, responsible growth, and smart investments that keep Logan financially stable.
